Carl + Heather’s Story

about

Carl and Heather Cartee have shared over 25 years of marriage, passionately dedicating their lives to serving Jesus together. Carl, a Dove Award-winning songwriter and musician, has penned songs for a wide range of artists, from Elevation Worship to The Oak Ridge Boys. Heather is an accomplished author, speaker, and Bible teacher, and she is the co-founder of Behold Women’s Gathering, a ministry dedicated to helping women experience more of Jesus in their everyday lives.
Together, the Cartees have traveled the world, ministering and sharing their faith.

They are featured speakers at FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember marriage getaways and also speak at marriage conferences across the country. Their podcast, "Carl and Heather Present," offers an honest look at the ups and downs of marriage and family life, encouraging couples to stay committed to Christ and each other through all seasons. Carl and Heather make their home in Franklin, TN and are also the proud parents of four teenage sons—Oak, Ezra, Abe, and Ike—who keep their lives full of love and adventure.

For more than 25 years we’ve been trying to find ways to not just stay together, but to thrive together. The only way we’ve been able to do that is by committing to keep Jesus at the center of it all.
